VAG Assessment Agreement

1. Parties

This Agreement is entered into between Vantage Aviation Group ("VAG", "we") and the candidate identified in the candidate portal at the time of acceptance ("Candidate", "you").

2. Purpose of the Stage 03 Fee

The Stage 03 fee ("Fee"), as disclosed to you in writing prior to payment, is consideration for VAG to provide you access to a licensed third-party aviation aptitude assessment battery (such as COMPASS or ADAPT) and the related proctoring, scoring and administration services described in the program documentation ("Assessment Service").

The Fee is the sole consideration for the Assessment Service. It is not a deposit, application fee, tuition, or pre-payment toward training.

3. No Guarantee of Sponsorship

Payment of the Fee does not guarantee progression to subsequent stages, selection for sponsorship, or admission to the partner academy. The VAG Cadet Program is competitive and selection is made by VAG in its sole discretion based on the totality of Candidate performance across all five stages.

4. Non-Refundable

The Fee is non-refundable once the Assessment Service has been provisioned to you, regardless of (a) the score you achieve, (b) whether you are invited to subsequent stages, (c) whether you are ultimately selected for sponsorship, or (d) any voluntary withdrawal on your part after the Assessment Service has begun.

If VAG cancels your assessment slot for reasons within VAG's control before the Assessment Service has been delivered, VAG will refund the Fee in full.

5. Conduct & Integrity

You agree to attempt the Assessment Service personally, without third-party assistance, unauthorized aids, or impersonation. VAG conducts a proctored re-assessment at Stage 05 specifically to verify the integrity of Stage 03 results. Any discrepancy may, at VAG's discretion, result in disqualification, forfeiture of the Fee, and a permanent bar from future intakes.

6. Data Protection & GDPR

Vantage Aviation Group is the data controller of your personal information and processes it in full compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and applicable national data-protection laws.

What we collect: the identity, contact, address, and date-of-birth information you submit at registration; the documents you upload at Stage 01 (passport, proof of education, grades); your Stage 03 assessment scores; and operational metadata required to administer your application.

How we use it: solely to evaluate your candidacy, administer the five stages of the Cadet Program, and — if you are selected — to enrol you with our partner academy. Your data is accessed only by authorised VAG admissions staff and our licensed assessment provider, strictly for the purposes of your application. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with marketing partners.

How we protect it: documents are stored in a private, access-controlled bucket with row-level security. Only the candidate and authorised VAG staff can view a candidate's records.

Your GDPR rights: you have the right to (a) access the personal data we hold about you, (b) request correction of inaccurate data, (c) request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"), (d) restrict or object to processing, (e) data portability, and (f) lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@vantageaviation.group from the address on file. We will respond within 30 days.

Retention: application data is retained only as long as needed to administer your candidacy, plus the minimum period required by law. Once you request deletion, your records are removed (except where we are legally required to retain limited records for audit purposes).

6.a Filipino Applicants — Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012

For applicants residing in or submitting personal information from the Republic of the Philippines, Vantage Aviation Group additionally processes your personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

Lawful basis: we process your data on the basis of your informed consent given at registration, the necessity of processing for the performance of the assessment and admissions process you have requested, and our legitimate interests in administering the Cadet Program — each weighed against your fundamental right to privacy.

Sensitive personal information: where the application requires sensitive personal information (e.g. government-issued IDs, medical/Class 1 fitness indicators, educational records), we collect, store and transmit such data using reasonable and appropriate organisational, physical, and technical security measures as required by Sections 25–29 of the DPA.

Cross-border transfer: because selection and training are conducted with our partner academy in the European Union, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in the EU. Vantage Aviation Group remains accountable for your data under the DPA and ensures that any such transfer is protected by comparable safeguards consistent with NPC Circular No. 2016-02 and the GDPR framework described in Section 6.

Your DPA rights: as a data subject you have the right to be informed, to object, to access, to rectification, to erasure or blocking, to damages, to data portability, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. To exercise these rights, email privacy@vantageaviation.group from the address on file.

Regulatory note: this program is an educational sponsorship and not an offer of overseas employment. Nothing in this Section limits the rights granted to you as a data subject under Philippine law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VAG's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this Agreement is limited to the amount of the Fee actually paid by you.

8. Acceptance

You accept this Agreement by checking the acceptance box in the candidate portal immediately prior to payment. Your electronic acceptance has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
